As a new initiative to promote literacy and reading, Lawrence County School Board Attorney Nate Armistad began recognizing literacy stars from across the district at the February Board meeting. These students received prizes from Armistad to help further their passion for reading. First to be recognized were the high scorers in Third Grade Reading on the 2023-2024 MAAP Assessment.
