Friends of Bobby Britt recently gathered in Wesson to dedicate a tree to Britt’s memory.

On Saturday, Jan. 8, the Wesson Garden Club hosted the event at the “Welcome to Wesson” sign on Sylvarena Road. A Little Gem Magnolia tree planted will serve as a reminder of the long-standing dedication Britt had to the town of Wesson. Plans are to add two more of the trees soon, to also honor the memory of Britt’s late wife and son, Frances and David.

“The family has given much love and time to the town of Wesson, and we are grateful for their support,” said a Club representative.
