Five local establishments ace health inspections

BROOKHAVEN — Mississippi Department of Health reported five local establishments aced recent health inspections. Grades for the inspections are published in an online database. 

According to MSDH, Sones General Store and Dinner earned an “A” rating for the 10th straight time. The general store is located at 1681 MS-550 NW.

The Cookbook LLC, located at 119 W. Chickasaw Street, earned an “A” rating for the 10th straight time.

The Old Koke Plant, located at 620 US51 South, earned an “A” rating for the sixth straight time. 

Lincoln Residential Center earned an “A” rating for the second straight time since the first recorded grade in 2024. 

Diamond J Services earned an “A” rating for the second straight time. Diamond J is a meat market and deer processor located at 1705 US84 East in Brookhaven.
