Funeral services for Mrs. Judy Nettles Huff will be on Saturday, at 12:00PM on February 1, 2025, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS. Visitation will begin one hour earlier from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM. Rev. Carl Mason will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Huff, 92, of Eddiceton, MS, passed peacefully from this life on January 26, 2025 at her home in Eddiceton. She was born in Eddiceton on November 11, 1932, to Mr. Julius Edward Nettles and Mrs. Gladys Cotten Nettles.
Mrs. Huff enjoyed the holidays with her family, especially Thanksgiving when she hosted the event. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and looked forward to updates on what they were doing or planning. She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family. She spent many years in the Florida cities of Tampa and Lake City raising her family but longed to retire in her childhood home of Eddiceton, MS., which she did in 1992 with her husband Samuel Earl Huff whom she married in 1950 after graduating from Meadville High School. They were happily married for 47 years until his death in 1997.
Preceding Mrs. Huff in death were her parents, Julius and Gladys Nettles; husband, Samuel Earl Huff; son, Samuel Walter Huff; sister; JoAnn Rayborn; brothers, Blake Nettles, Raymond Nettles and Ronald Ed Nettles.
Surviving Mrs. Huff are daughter, Wanda Knight (Randy); son, Gary Huff (Susan); sister, Donna Finn (Mickey); brother, Bruce Nettles (Charlotte), daughter-in-law Andrea Huff Rush, 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are grandsons Dwayne Dozier, Randy Dozier, Chris Dozier, Jason Huff, Harry Huff, and great-grandson Jacob Huff.
