Temperatures warming up this week

BROOKHAVEN — Weather forecasts show temperatures will warm up this week as rain and warm moist air rushes into the region. Rain chances will improve Wednesday into Friday. It looks like decent weather is expected for the end of deer season.
National Weather Service in Jackson forecast temperatures to reach a high of 59 today before dropping down to a low of 39. Warm air will begin to move into the area Tuesday bringing the high back up to 63 degrees with a low of 46 Tuesday night.
Wednesday is forecast to have a high of 69 degrees with a 20 percent chance of showers. Temperatures will drop to a low of 55 Wednesday night with a 20 percent chance of showers.
Thursday’s forecast calls for a high of 72 degrees and a low of 62 Thursday night. There will be a 20 percent chance of showers during the day before increasing to 50 percent chance of showers Thursday night.
NWS Jackson forecasts a 70 percent chance of rain Friday with a high of 69 degrees. The rain chance will drop off to 20 percent Friday afternoon.
