BOGUE CHITTO — A truck overturned on I-55 just north of the Bogue Chitto exit around 2 p.m. Monday afternoon. Mississippi Highway Patrol, Bogue Chitto Volunteer Fire Department and Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency responded to the crash.

According to MHP Troop M, the wreck occurred in the southbound lane when a tractor-trailer hauling hay overturned.

“Please slow down and proceed with caution if you’re traveling in the area,” MHP stated.
