On Aug. 14, 2024, 41-year-old Devine Love of Brookhaven was arrested by Brookhaven Police and charged with felony fleeing from police, simple assault on a law officer, and a third charge of email threats/harassment or cyberstalking. Court paperwork shows Love is scheduled to appear in Lincoln County Circuit Court on Jan. 6, 2025, on one charge only, that of simple assault on a law enforcement officer.
