In keeping with long tradition of helping the community, the 21^st annual Holiday Food Pantry Drive took place throughout the weeks leading up to Christmas, sponsored by Bank of Brookhaven and The Daily Leader.

Once again, the recipients the donations are the food pantries of St. Vincent de Paul/St. Francis of Assisi, The Greater Hope Foundation, Bethel AME Church, and Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The total donated was divided equally among the ministries, and presented to them by Bank of Brookhaven President Shannon Aker. The ministries, bank, and news organization all express their gratitude to the many individuals and groups who donated to help those in the area who have food insecurities.
