DKG Theta Chapter names Boone Woman of Distinction

The Theta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International has named Deborah Boone as its 2024 Woman of Distinction. The recognition honors Boone’s unwavering dedication, leadership, and contributions to both the chapter and the field of education.
A longtime member of DKG’s Theta Chapter, Boone has served as chapter secretary, second vice president, and treasurer since 2018, bringing exceptional organization and leadership to each role. Her dedication extends beyond officer duties, as she has actively contributed to various committees, consistently exemplifying the society’s mission to promote professional and personal growth among educators.
Boone’s career in education is equally inspiring. As a National Board Certified Teacher, she spent over 30 years in public education, impacting countless students and peers with her passion for teaching and commitment to excellence. Even in retirement, her love for education remains strong as she continues to shape young minds in the private school setting.
