The 2024 Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign is now accepting applications for children up to age 16 in Lincoln and Copiah counties.

The application deadline is Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 11:59 p.m. Applications must be submitted through the website, https://hazlehurst-ms.toysfortots.org.

Toys for Tots is a nationwide program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, with a mission to bring joy and hope to less fortunate children during the holiday season. The Hazlehurst chapter is committed to supporting the local community by providing toys and gifts to children in need, ensuring every child experiences the magic of the holidays.

Through generous donations from individuals, businesses and organizations, Toys for Tots collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes them to children who might otherwise go without. Each year, volunteers and local partners in the Hazlehurst chapter work to make sure these gifts reach as many families as possible, bringing smiles and happiness to the children of 13 counties and surrounding areas.

Toys can be donated at multiple locations, such as the following in Lincoln County: Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office; Game Stop Brookhaven; Georgia Blue; Sweet & Petite LLC; Walmart Brookhaven; Bank of Brookhaven; Sweat Transformation Gym; Hood’s 76; Dollar General; and several other businesses and organizations.
