The members of the Ole Brook Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution recently participated in the DAR National Day of Service by providing snacks and “goodies” to the firefighters of the Brookhaven Fire Department. BFD Chief Jeff Ainsworth accepted the snacks from DAR Ole Brook Chapter Regent Libby Hewitt, at left. DAR members present were Mary Ann Smith, Johnnie Lea, Frances Phillips, Nancy Hoover, and Cathy Bridge.
