BROOKHAVEN — In a somber motion, the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors voted to approve the costs of cremation for a pauper. County Coroner Blake Wallace made the request for a pauper’s burial at a regularly scheduled board meeting Monday. 

Wallace said the deceased is Norma Wolf. He explained to the board he tried to reach out to her next of kin and the daughter would not answer the phone. They were able to reach the granddaughter and neither the granddaughter nor daughter would accept Wolf’s remains. 

Supervisors voted to approve the costs of cremation and burial of Wolf.
