Thank you, wonderful givers

Last August, I received a call around 3 a.m., that my daughters’ home on Hwy. 583 was in flames. In that fire, Hannah and Kelsey lost everything they owned, materially speaking. However, and most importantly, their lives were spared, and I’ve never stopped thanking God Almighty for keeping my girls through it all.

I’m reaching out to Brookhaven and our surroundings areas to say thank you from my heart, for all who gave to my daughters, Hannah Mason Aldridge and Kelsey Mason. Some of you gave anonymously, and we had no way to say thanks at the time, so I hope you are reading this. Others, I’ve thanked already, yet we could never show enough appreciation. God bless you. Especially to Heritage Family Church, our precious Church family, who gave over and above during this time, and also showed heartfelt love and support, thank you all. You are the most wonderful Church family ever! We love y’all tremendously! Also, a special thank-you to our sweet friend, Brittany Sones, for voluntarily organizing a fundraiser account for Hannah and Kelsey during their time of loss last year; this was a blessing indeed! May God bless you for your kindness!

We might never have the privilege of knowing who all gave, yet God knows. May God bless you! Thank you from a mom who is so very grateful to have her two daughters still here!

I’m reminded of these encouraging words from a beautiful song: “Now I thank God for the mountains, I thank Him for the valleys, I thank Him for the storms He’s brought me through; for if I’d never had a problem, how would I know that He could solve them? I’d never, never know what faith in God could do. Through it all, I’ve learned to trust in Jesus, I’ve learned to depend upon His Word.”

Through it all, God has been with us, all thanks to Him! Through the fire, the ones who gave so generously was a blessing to my daughters. Thank you from my heart. I am so blessed to be a mom!

God bless you.
