BROOKHAVEN — Old country songs played over the radio as first responders grabbed a lunch plate and entered in a drawing for prizes outside of Perkins Hardware Wednesday. Southwest Broadcasting group held the event to celebrate first responders in Lincoln County.
People with Lincoln County Volunteer Fire Departments, KDMC, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Brookhaven Police Department and Brookhaven Fire Department stopped by the event. Prizes were given away in a drawing for first responders.
National First Responders day is Oct. 28.
