The Veterans of Foreign War Post 2618 (Cpt. Daniel D. Entrican) will host its 10^th annual Open House on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 728 Industrial Park Road, Brookhaven.

The event is to honor local law enforcement officers and staff. Honored guests are asked to bring their families, as well.

Everyone is welcome. Food, door prizes, and children’s activities will be available.

A raffle drawing will be conducted at 2 p.m. First prize is a Savage Arms Stevens 334 synthetic black matte bolt action .308 rifle with scope. Second prize is $300 worth of fuel from R.B. Wall Oil. Third prize is a $250 gift certificate to The Old Koke Plant. Fourth prize is a $200 Via/Mastercard gift card. In addition to R.B. Wall Oil Company and Old Koke Plant, sponsors are Home Depot and 51 Gun and Pawn.
