The Mississippi Department of Transportation has issued a traffic advisory for Interstate 55 southbound in Lincoln County, beginning Friday, Oct. 4.

Wide loads will be restricted in the area from Hwy. 84 (exit 38 in Brookhaven) to Hwy. 98 (exit 15 in McComb) in Lincoln and Pike counties. Due to construction, no wide loads exceeding 11 feet will be allowed on this section of I-55 southbound. Wide loads must exit no later than Hwy. 84.

Construction is expected to continue throughout the fall 2024.
