MCCOMB — A Brookhaven man was killed in a Wednesday morning wreck. The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported the fatality Wednesday night.

According to MHP Troop M Public Affairs Officer Cpl. Craig James, the wreck occurred around 7:26 a.m. on I-55 in Pike County. A 1986 Honda Motorcycle driven by 29-year-old Joseph Lodrigue of Brookhaven was traveling north on I-55 near exit 20 in Pike County when he left the roadway. MHP reported the motorcycle and Lodrigue collided with a cable barrier after leaving the roadway.

Lodrigue received fatal injuries in the crash.

MHP reports the crash remains under investigation.
