County health departments to close early due to Hurricane Francine

Several County Health Departments are closed all day Wednesday, Sept. 11, or closing early, due to the anticipated effects of Hurricane Francine.

The Lincoln, Lawrence, Franklin, Amite, and Jefferson county departments will each close at noon Wednesday. Others closing at noon are Jefferson Davis, Adams, Wilkinson, Marion, Lamar, Covington, Harrison and Jackson counties. Forrest County Health Department will close at 1 p.m.

Pike, Walthall, Pearl River and Hancock counties’ health departments will be closed all day.
