Philadelphia, Pa — The second presidential debate of the 2024 election will be televised tonight. Presidential Candidates Donald Trump, Republican, and Kamala Harris, Democrat, are set to start their debate at 8 p.m. central time.

The debate is expected to last 90 minutes with “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir and “Prime” anchor Linsey Davis moderating. Just 75 days ago, Joe Biden faced off with Trump in a debate. He backed out of the race and stepped aside for Harris to run. ABC News will stream and broadcast the debate tonight. Several other networks have agreed to carry the debate live.

Similar to the first debate, no live audience will be inside the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Candidate mics will be muted when it is not their turn to speak and neither candidates will have notes with them.
