JACKSON — William Mounger presented the 2024 Outstanding Mississippi Sportsmen Award on behalf of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks committee. Mounger said it is an award they have given out over the last few years. 

The award is often presented to someone whose sportsmanship and commitment to the outdoors is worthy. Mounger said the award is special because it allows MDWFP to honor people. Becky and Brian Clark of B&B Archery are the winners in 2024. Becky is a native of Brookhaven. 

“I have known them for quite a while. They have a real personal attention that they give to customers. They have helped so many people with their first bow and taught them how to shoot,” Mounger said. “They have helped with AIMS. They have gone the extra mile. They work with all the Rankin Schools with their archery teams. We really appreciate what you have done.” 

B&B archery is located at 88 River Ridge Parkway in Pearl. Mounger said the new facility is really nice. 

“We appreciate what you have done for others,” Mounger said. “You have gone the extra mile to help people.”
