The Daily Leader has relocated its offices, but remains in historic downtown Brookhaven.

“We have moved, but we have not left,” said Brett Campbell, news editor.

In October 2023, the Brookhaven news company announced that its office building at 128 N. Railroad Ave. was for sale, but that the newspaper itself was not.

“The Daily Leader no longer needs all of the space available in our current building, and we’re looking to move into a building that better accommodates the needs of our staff,” General Manager Stacy Graning said at the time. “By relocating, we can give someone the opportunity to develop a prime location in downtown Brookhaven.”

The Leader’s office is now located at 112 East Monticello St. Business hours are the same, Monday-Friday 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

“With this decision, nothing will change with our news coverage. We plan to continue to meet the demands of our readers by providing top-notch coverage of government entities, events, sports, and the people, places and businesses that make Brookhaven and Lincoln County unique,” Graning said.
