Missing Lincoln County teen found

NEW SIGHT — A day after Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office asked for help locating a lost juvenile the girl has returned home. Lincoln County Sheriff Steve Rushing confirmed the news Thursday afternoon. 

Leanisha Brown went missing Tuesday afternoon on Baldwin Loop in the New Sight Community of Lincoln County. Officials stated the girl had connections to Jackson and the state of Alabama in a press release Wednesday morning. 

Brown is now home safe and sound with no injuries.
