Funeral services for Mr. Murphy Q. Tuttle will be on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Brookhaven Funeral Home at 12:00 Noon with burial to follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Pastor Jim will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM till 12:00 Noon.

Mr. Murphy Q. Tuttle, 93, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on July 14, 2024. He was born on June 7, 1931 in McComb, MS, and resided in Brookhaven, MS for over 25 years. Murphy was a retired steel mill worker of 35 years. He was a member of the Assembly of Brookhaven.

He was preceded in death by wife, Mary P. Tuttle; first wife, Dorothy N. Tuttle; parents, Albert and Callie Tuttle; son, James Tuttle; daughter, Debra Baldauf; daughter-in-law, Caryn Tuttle; son-in-law, Jim Baldauf; grandson, Bradley Tuttle and grandson, Richard Baldauf.

He is survived by grandchildren, Kimberly Tuttle, Debbie Kralek, Jason Baldauf, Murphy Tuttle, and Fay Tuttle; great-grandchildren, Shawn T., Tiffany S., Felicia D. Cheyenne K., Cheyanne T., Alex T.; and many great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, friends and family.
