BROOKHAVEN — Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to two car crashes Monday afternoon. One person was injured in one of the wrecks. 

One wreck occurred on Interstate 55 Northbound around the 47 mile marker at 2:18 p.m. Two vehicles were involved in the crash but no injuries were reported. 

MHP responded to a wreck in Bogue Chitto Monday evening at 5:45 p.m. The wreck was at Freeman Road and US51 South. Officials reported the crash involved two vehicles with one injury.
