BROOKHAVEN — A Brookhaven woman is richer after buying a winning scratch off ticket. The Mississippi Lottery Corporation reported the award Thursday.

A $20 scratch-off ticket was bought from the 3 Way Kwik Stop in Brookhaven. The woman won $1,000.

The Mississippi Lottery raises funds for infrastructure and education each year. FY2024 will end on June 30 and FY2025 will start July 1.
