Brookhaven’s Massengill elected to Mississippi Bankers Association Board of Directors

Robb Massengill of Brookhaven has been elected to a 3-year term on the Mississippi Bankers Association Board of Directors.

Massengill will represent his region of the state on the Board, which governs the 135-year-old association. MBA’s membership includes commercial banks and savings institutions operating in Mississippi, and the association’s members hold over 95 percent of bank deposits in the state.

Massengill is the CEO of Bank of Brookhaven, where he has been for 24 years. During his time at Bank of Brookhaven, he has served in many roles including Chief Lending Officer and Underwriter, Executive Vice President, Bond Portfolio Manager and CFO overseeing Asset / Liability Management.

In addition to a Bachelor of Science degree from Ole Miss and MBA from The University of Memphis, Massengill is a graduate of the MS School of Banking, Cannon Trust School, and the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).

Massengill has been involved with the MBA for several years, including serving as Mississippi Young Bankers president 2010-2011. In addition to his new role on the Board of Directors, he is also involved at Grace Life Church of Brookhaven and as a Board member of both the Brookhaven School District and Children’s Advocacy Center.

He and his wife, Fran, have 3 grown children, Maggie, Gracey and Robert.
