Lawrence County seniors complete educator preparation program

Sara Watts and Rachel Smith, Lawrence County High School seniors and completers of the two-year Educator Preparation program at Lawrence County Technology & Career Center, signed their Educator Preparation scholarships with William Carey last week. Each received a $36,000 scholarship to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. They are also part of the Grow Your Own collaborative partnership Carey has with Lawrence County School District.
