Dr. and Mrs. James Martin Tucker announce the engagement of their daughter, Clara Elizabeth Tucker, to Austin Price Watts. 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lola Smith and the late Mr. William Clifton Smith Jr. of Jackson, and Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Tucker of Aberdeen.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Austin Watts Jr., of Brookhaven. He is the grandson of Mrs. Nan Price Noble and the late Mr. Rufus Watson Noble of Brookhaven, and Mrs. Nell Parker Watts and the late Mr. Lee Austin Watts Sr. of Schlater.

Miss Tucker is a 2012 honors graduate of Jackson Academy. She graduated cum laude from The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. While at Ole Miss, Miss Tucker was an active member of Chi Omega sorority. She was presented by the Debutante Club of Mississippi in 2013. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Belhaven University, Miss Tucker is a registered nurse with Baptist Hospice in Jackson. 

Mr. Watts is a 2010 graduate of Brookhaven High School. He graduated from The University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance, and was an active member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He is employed with C-Spire.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on June 1 at Saint Richard Catholic Church with a re-ception following at The Country Club of Jackson. The couple will make their home in Jackson.
