BROOKHAVEN — The National Weather Service in Jackson issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Lincoln County until 10 a.m. A tornado watch is in effect until 1 pm and a flood watch is in effect until 7 pm.

A line of storms moving at 60 mph to the northeast were detected on radar in a line from Little Springs to Magnolia.

NWS Jackson warns these severe thunderstorms have 60 mph wind gusts. The wind could cause damage to roofs, sidings and trees.

At this time no power outages are reported in Lincoln County.
