BROOKHAVEN — Mississippi Department of Health reports a local restaurant earned a “C” rating this week in Brookhaven. Two healthcare facilities earned “A” ratings in health inspections this week. 

According to the MSDH Restaurant Inspection database, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, located at 1207 Hampton Drive, earned a “C” rating Monday. It is the first “C” rating for the location. Since 2016, “A” and “B” ratings have been the only grades issued to the restaurant. 

Health Inspection records show a good retail practice of no insects, rodents and other animals present was not in compliance at the location. 

A “C” rating means the facility will be re-inspected and all violations must be corrected in a time period not to exceed 10 days. 

BeeHive Homes, located at 1031 West Congress Street, earned an “A” rating for the 14th straight time since 2016. The nursing home is locally owned. 

The Aspen of Brookhaven additionally earned an “A” rating at 500 Silver Cross Drive. It is their second straight A rating and 13th A rating since 2017.
