The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is excited to announce the next venture for Mississippi Outdoors Media – the Mississippi Outdoors Podcast hosted by Matt Wyatt.

Set to launch our first episode on March 6, 2024, join us each week as we dive into Mississippi’s great outdoors through sharing stories about hunting, fishing, camping, conservation, and more. We will be featuring guests from across the state as they share their own unique local experiences of spending time in the outdoors.

Our host, Matt Wyatt, known for his broadcasting work in Mississippi, has established a legacy far exceeding his days as a quarterback at Mississippi State University. Celebrated for his coverage of both sports and the outdoors, Matt masterfully weaves humor with insightful commentary, appealing to a diverse audience. In his lighthearted remarks, Matt humorously reflects on the potential for greater athletic achievement had he devoted less time to outdoor pursuits – underscoring his love for Mississippi outdoors.

The Mississippi Outdoors podcast can be found on Apple Podcast, Spotify, and YouTube. New episodes will be released on Wednesdays.
