LOYD STAR — Several Loyd Star students earned high honors Monday. Loyd Star announced the winners on social media.

Four Hornets were named to Loyd Star’s Hall of Fame Monday. Abby Burnette, Connor Cunningham, Alexander Ludlow and Colby Terrell were chosen for the Hall of Fame.

Anabella Jackson and Cooper Reid earned the school’s citizenship award.

Natalie Womack and Brandon Burt earned the outstanding student award.

Loyd Star’s agriculture program also earned an award last week at the Dixie National Rodeo. Bayleigh Hutson, Future Farmers of America Chapter President and Loyd Star Senior, earned a Sale of Junior Championship Scholarship. She was one of 25 scholarship recipients to receive $1,500.
