A Brookhaven woman and a Summit woman each pocketed some extra cash after recent lottery wins.

A woman identified as “Tiakara,” from Brookhaven, won $1,250 on a Cash Pop ticket she purchased from A One Stop, 313 Industrial Park Road NE, Brookhaven.

A Summit woman won $2,000 on a $20 “200X Cash Blitz” scratch-off ticket purchased from B-Kwik #11, 1812 Delaware Ave., McComb. Scratch-offs include instructions on the individual cards.

Cash Pop winning numbers are drawn twice daily. Each number on the ticket is a Pop. The more Pops you play, the greater the chance of winning. Players can wager $1, $2, $5 or $10 per Pop, and choose the day or evening drawing — or both.

Cash Pop tickets cannot be canceled, and winning numbers must be certified by the Mississippi Lottery Corporation.
