BROOKHAVEN — Rain is moving in Friday into Saturday but severe storms will threaten Sunday. National Weather Service office in Jackson warns these storms could bring hail and damaging winds.

Tornadoes are also a possible threat with the severe storms forecast to move through the area. The weather event is too far out to know a precise time for the storms to arrive. We will provide updates before, during and after the storms roll through the area.

Rain and storms this weekend will clear out for sunny skies next week.
