ROXIE — Mississippi Department of Transportation reports east and west bound lanes on US84 between MS 33 and White Apple Road in Franklin County are open for traffic. At the same time, MS28 near Hazlehurst is closed due to flooding.

MDOT reports the section of MS28 between Old Port Gibson Road and Old Natchez Road is closed due to flooding in for east and west bound lanes.

US84 was closed due to flooding Wednesday morning.  MDOT issued the closure at 10 a.m. according to MDOT’s traffic center but announced around 2p.m. that the roadway was open for traffic.
