A Graveside Service for Willie Ray Jergins Jr. will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery with visitation from 9:00 until the time of service at the church.

Mr. Jergins Jr., 71, of Bogue Chitto, died October 29, 2023, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born in Humble, TX, to Willie Ray Jergins Sr. and Martha Porter Jergins, December 25, 1951. He enjoyed making his rounds visiting family, friends, and grandkids. He truly loved his grandchildren and his faithful dog, Loretta.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Brister Jergins; his parents and his granddaughter, Hailey Jergins.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Lawrance “Buddy” Jergins (Felicia), Mike Jergins (Chastity), Dwayne “Speedy” Jergins (Tonya), and Kim Jergins (Rachel); brother, Doyle Jergins; sisters, Susie Westbrook (Mitchell) and Lori Costilow (Ryan); 12 grandchildren, Breanna Wooley (Jay), Dalana Beard (Josh), Kristin Myers (Austin), Ty Jergins, Holly Hemphill (Austin), Peytin Jergins, Anna McNeese (Marc), Hannah Jergins, Ainslee “Rae Rae” Jergins, Maddie Jergins, Lynlee Jergins, Finlea Jergins; 9 great-grandchildren; and other loving family members and friends, including, Butch Jergins and Timmy Russell.
