BROOKHAVEN — Spooky Halloween is almost near and Sipps, a custom soda shop in Brookhaven, is planing to celebrate.
Sipps announced it will serve three “yummy,” drinks from 6 to 8 p.m. on Halloween night. The shop is found at 333 West Cherokee Street in Brookhaven.
Ribbon Cutting
Southern Bone and Joint Specialists will host an open house Friday. Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce announced the event is planed for Friday and invites people to join them.
Brookhaven native Brad Martin is the physican assistant leading the specialist clinic. Martin graduated from Brookhaven Academy, Co-Lin, Southern Miss and South University.
Celebrate the ribbon cutting and open house Friday at 11:3o. Southern Bone and Joint is located at 815 US51 North in Brookhaven. Light refreshments will be served.
Church homecoming
Hawkins Chapel Church will host homecoming on Sunday, October 29. Homecoming will start at 10:45 a.m. with Reverend Mathew Delaughter serving as the guest speaker. Delaughter grew up in Hawkins Chapel. The church is at 1259 Zetus Road.
People are invited to bring their favorite covered dish and join them under the white oak trees. It will be a step back in time for many people who experienced Food, fellowship and blessings around a long wooden table.
The church invites people to join them on any Sunday. Sunday school at Hawkins Chapel starts at 8:30 a.m. and Church services start at 9 a.m.
