BROOKHAVEN — Ole Brook Boys Golf qualified for the MHSAA 5A State Championships by shooting a team score of 349 along with South Jones Wednesday. Natchez qualified its girls team due to no other girls teams playing in the district tournament.

Natchez Head Coach Jamar White said his girls team played a few holes but didn’t finish out the district tournament because there was no need to. Rain and cool temperatures made the round a dreary one. 

The low medalist honors went to South Jones’s Judson Jordan for shooting an 83. No one qualified as an individual from the boys competition.
