It is with profound sadness that Lincoln Residential Center announces the death of Mr. John Corley McIntosh. John was born on Aug. 26, 1939. He was called home on Aug. 29, 2023, at the age of 84 years old.

He came to live at Lincoln Residential Center on Dec. 20, 1990, and was one of our original clients. Throughout his time at Lincoln Residential, he was loved by everyone. He was known as “Cowboy” and he loved to flex his muscles to let you know that he was strong and he was a champ. He loved his collection of cowboy hats and watching his westerns. He was a very mellow person and he very seldom showed sadness, despite his medical issues.

John will truly be missed by all who have worked and currently work at Lincoln Residential Center.
