Lincoln County under particularly dangerous situation thunderstorm watch

The NOAA National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Particularly Dangerous Situation Severe Thunderstorm Watch for much of central Mississippi — including Lincoln County — as well as portions of Northeastern Louisiana and Southeastern Arkansas, until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Widespread damaging winds of 90 mph or greater, hail and a few tornadoes are likely.
The area affected covers a large area, including Lawrence, Copiah and Jefferson counties.
