The Brookhaven Tourism Council will host its next downtown music performance on Friday, March 31.
The Lincoln Outfit will perform live on the Railroad Park Stage from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. The concert is free. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, and to purchase food and beverages from downtown restaurants, or bring their own.
Based in Southwest Mississippi, The Lincoln Outfit is a familiar band to Brookhavenites, composed of Clinton Gooch on vocals, mandolin, bass and guitar; Cody Dunaway on vocals, guitar and bass; Baleigh Gooch on vocals and leg slap; Crawford Stevens on vocals and guitar; and Hagen Conn, on drums.
Summer Concert Series
The Tourism Council’s Summer Concert Series will begin May 5, with Mike Rob and the 601 Band. The Jackson-based band performs classic soul music.
Then Four Way Stop will take the stage June 2. This Brookhaven-based band thrives on classic rock. Their gritty, high-energy show is a crowd pleaser.
The final band of the summer triad will be The Bridge Band on July 7. Also based out of Brookhaven, the band covers well-known classics sure to get the crowd involved.
All four of the upcoming bands are not new to the Home Seekers Paradise, and locals especially will enjoy the shows.
