VisitBrookhavenMS invites families to “Jump in to Spring” during Spring Break.

On Thursday, March 16, 5-7 p.m., fun and food will be available downtown.

“I am excited about our first spring break event,” said Jillian Ricceri of the Brookhaven Tourism Council. “We know that a lot of people are looking for fun spring break activities, so we wanted to offer something here in Brookhaven.”

Ricceri said the event will take place in the South Railroad Avenue parking lot.

“We will have a bounce house, two slide/bounce house combos, and a Jacob’s Ladder game. We will also have the Exchange Club train,” she said. “Snowhaven is bringing their mobile snow cone stand to sell snow cones.”

Junior Auxiliary Crown Club girls will paint faces, and temporary glitter tattoos will be available for purchase at $5 each.

“Everything is free of charge except the temporary tattoos and snow cones,” Ricceri said. These will be cash only.

“It looks like the weather is going to be perfect, so we hope everyone will join us.”
