BROOKHAVEN — Entergy reports 2,100 customers statewide are without energy Wednesday afternoon as strong winds have hit the state. Lincoln County reports 75 customers are without power and 28 customers in Copiah County are without power according to Entergy’s website.

Southwest Electric reports 383 customers are without power and the majority are in Copiah County with 289 customers out of power, which is 11 percent of customers. Magnolia Electric reports one customer is without power.

NWS Jackson forecasts winds to continue to be strong heading into the evening. Be careful if you drive a high profile vehicle and watch out for broken limbs and fallen trees.
