From February 15 through February 22, the Mississippi Highway Patrol, Troop M will conduct a Mardi  Gras travel safety campaign.  

Throughout this period, MHP will conduct traffic enforcement operations mainly along the north/south  corridors, such as I-55 and US-61, to address impaired drivers and other dangerous driving behaviors  transitioning to and from Mardi Gras activities in and around the New Orleans area.
