A wreck on Hwy. 84 E Sunday morning resulted in minor injuries for the occupants of the two-vehicle impact.

The wreck occurred at the entrance of Easthaven Baptist Church, across from where Natchez Avenue enters Hwy. 84, at approximately 9:15 a.m. The two vehicles collided at the intersection, causing one to overturn.

Brookhaven Fire Department Chief Jeff Ainsworth said firefighters assisted with getting one patient out and helping load them into an ambulance. The patient was transported to King’s Daughters Medical Center.
