The Brignall Road bridge near Brown’s Loop will close at 7 a.m. Friday for construction.

The contractors have 75 working days to complete the project, pending weather delays, so local residents should expect to plan alternative routes until the bridge’s completion, Ward 1 Alderman James Magee Jr. said.

The bridge will reopen as soon as repairs have been made to get the crossing fully safe and functional.
