A “wonderful kind person” has donated a washing machine and clothes dryer to the Brookhaven Animal Rescue League.

BARL posted on its Facebook page Monday morning that a man named Richard had made the donation.

“Thank you Richard for the washer and dryer … only 3 years old, in perfect working condition. This was a big relief since our dryer wasn’t working and we have lots of laundry,” BARL posted.

Comments on the post thanked the donor, calling him a “generous soul” and “wonderful kind person.”
