Troopers like to trick-or-treat, too.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M will host Trunk or Treat Monday, Oct. 24, 5:30-7 p.m. The facility is located at 160 Hwy. 84 E in Brookhaven.

“We love the communities we serve and sometimes that may be hard to see when you’re being issued a citation,” said Cpl. Craig James. “So we want the public to see that we do care and we want people to have a good time and be safe doing it. We also want the children to see they can feel comfortable around law enforcement and that we exist for their benefit.”
