Effective immediately, WIC is temporarily expanding its formula options for participants.

The Mississippi State Department of Health’s Women, Infants and Children’s Nutrition Program has made the expansion in response to the ongoing nationwide formula shortage.

Expanded offerings include substitutes for Enfamil Infant, Enfamil Gentlease, Enfamil Prosobee and Enfamil AR.

WIC participants who are unable to find their regular formula should contact their local WIC clinic to have options added to their eWIC cards. Different container sizes of like formulas may be mixed and matched.
