Deer vs. door — no clear winner

An adult white tailed deer had a brief encounter with the locked doors of The Arcade Building in downtown Brookhaven around 5 a.m. Tuesday. The deer apparently hit the doors hard, injuring and dazing itself and causing some minor damage to the doors. Brookhaven police officers stayed with the deer until animal control arrived to tend to it.
